Greg has been part of the URJ Camps and NFTY family for more than 20 years. Before joining the 6 Points team, Greg served as the Senior Assistant Director of the URJ Crane Lake Camp and as the Assistant Director of the URJ Eisner Camp. Greg spent the summer of 2007 at Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps in Malibu, California overseeing the music program and five years as the Youth Advisor for Temple Sinai in Washington, D.C. He is an alumnus of the Yitro Leadership Program, a professional development program for assistant camp directors through the Foundation for Jewish Camp.

Prior to his time at camp, Greg worked as the Manager of Finance and Administration for the Digital Media Association (DiMA), a DC-based trade group dedicated to promoting awareness of new digital music and video technologies.  While in Washington, Greg also served as a soundboard engineer for the NHL and MLB on XM Satellite Radio. Most notably, his passion for Judaism, technology and music met when he produced XM’s “Radio Hanukkah,” the first national radio station dedicated to Jewish music.

Greg holds an MPA in non-profit management from CUNY Baruch College in Manhattan and a BA in music technology and broadcast communications from American University.

Greg enjoys playing the guitar, loves cooking outdoors and being in front of the grill. As an avid skier, Greg travels the world, looking for snow adventures! After three incredible summers, Greg is looking forward to all that is in store for Summer 2017!


Barak Malkin – Assistant Director


Barak Malkin is excited to blend his life’s passions as a Jewish Professional and a Mathematician as the Assistant Director of the URJ 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy. Barak graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2008 (where he ended up taking every math course that the college had to offer) and also completed the certification program in Jewish Education for Adolescent and Emerging Adults from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in 2012.

Barak is an alum of the URJ Kutz Camp and has worked with Jewish Youth in the NFTY-GER and NFTY-SoCal regions for the past 12 years.

Barak loves watching comedy-action movies and is an avid fan of everything from board games and graphic novels to video games and multi-verses. He is beyond excited to be a part of the 6 Points Sci-Tech family and looks forward to exploring the connections between Judaism, mathematics, and technology.


Rachel Landman – Assistant Director


Rachel has been part of the URJ camp community for 14 years. Growing up at Crane Lake Camp, she was a camper, Machon (counselor-in-training), Soccer Coach, and Teva (Nature) Director. As an alumna of URJ’s Olim Fellowship and the Kivun Fellowship program, she developed leadership skills and learned about integration of Jewish content into all camp activities.

Rachel graduated from Hamilton College with a degree in Biology, where she focused on ecology and environmental science, and spent a semester studying wildlife management in Kenya and Tanzania. At Hamilton, she rowed crew for four years, was the president of the Global Health Organization, and served as the Religious Chair for Hillel. Rachel spent the last year in Washington D.C. as a Legislative Assistant at the Religious Action Center, focusing on Environmental Justice, International Issues and Interfaith Relations.

In her free time, Rachel loves to travel, explore nature and meet new people. Rachel excited to be a part of the Sci-Tech family, and is especially looking forward to Sci-Tech Israel.


Paige Kohn – Camp Administrator

Paige has grown up in camping, starting at Girl Scout camps in upstate New York at age five, all the way up to spending seven years at URJ Eisner Camp in Great Barrington, MA as an adult. At Eisner, she was one of the few to be a general counselor, specialist, unit head and department head, serving as the Social Media Director her last two years.

Paige graduated cum laude from the State University of New York, College at Brockport in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, and a minor in Recreation and Leisure Studies. She is also as alumnus of Delta College, the accelerated interdisciplinary liberal arts program at Brockport. In between Paige’s summers at Eisner, she worked with Disney Cruise Line for four years as a Youth Activities Counselor aboard the Disney Magic, and then opened the Disney Dream as a Shipboard Job Scheduler. After traveling the world working on a ship, Paige is thrilled to be back in the northeast and to be a part of the amazing experience that is 6 Points Sci-Tech Academy.
